Students in Class Five had a memorable trip to the Barking Gurdwara where they had the opportunity to see the Guru Granth Sahib in its splendour and enjoy scrumptious delights as a result of Sewa – a lovely
end to the RE unit the class.

Did you know that Sewa means ‘selfless service’ often involving helping others without any reward or personal gain?

Year 5 have thought a great deal about this and our Worship Council have proposed that we have our own Sewa day in school. A splendid idea!
