New to Chairing? How to be an effective Chair
The role of the chair is vital in ensuring the governing body fulfils its functions well and the culture of the governing body is largely determined by its chair. As well as being “first amongst equals” the chair provides challenge and support; is an ambassador, sometimes a confidante, an arbitrator and a mentor.
This course examines the role of an effective chair. Areas covered include:
