We are looking for a Lettings Assistant to support community use of our school facilities across three sites. This is a flexible, casual role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes responsibility seriously, and can be relied upon to maintain high standards.
About the Role
As a Lettings Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for community groups, sports clubs and organisations hiring our spaces during evenings, weekends and school holidays. Your professionalism and warm manner will shape their experience from start to finish.
You will ensure our facilities are opened on time, clean, safe and set up correctly — and that they are secured properly at the end of each session. Security is a crucial part of this role, and you will be trusted with the safe operation of alarms, keys, and school premises.
What You'll be doing
Welcoming hirers and providing exceptional customer service
Managing the opening, monitoring and secure closing of school buildings
Ensuring facilities are clean, tidy and ready for use
Carrying out basic caretaking tasks as needed
Recording hours and keeping accurate logs of work completed
Responding calmly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
Supporting the Premises Manager to ensure safe and efficient use of the facilities

What We're Looking for:
A friendly, confident communicator with a helpful approach
Someone who understands the importance of security, safety and responsibility
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Flexible and adaptable — every session can be different
Comfortable working across three school sites
Experience in lettings, customer service or caretaking (desirable but not essential)
