Preschool Leader

Start Date: April 2026 (although this is flexible for the right candidate)

Hours: 45 hours per week (8:00am-6:00pm), 42 weeks per year (non-working weeks/holiday to be taken during Preschool closures and school term time)

Scale: SO1 Actual Salary (£47,201.93 - £48,642.38)

Holy Trinity CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school located in the heart of Dalston. We are part of a federation of seven schools called Primary Advantage. We believe that our schools gain many benefits from working collaboratively and can achieve more by working together. We have made a commitment to a shared responsibility to the wider education community, the provision of good quality education and the improvement of life chances for pupils in the community beyond that of our own schools. Teachers, support staff, school leaders and Governors have added expertise in working alongside colleagues to improve provision and outcomes for pupils.

We are seeking a practitioner who is passionate about excellent early years provision to become our Preschool Leader. The successful candidate would oversee the management and delivery of both preschool rooms and would be responsible for preschool admissions and for the development and deployment of staff, including cover. They would assist the Headteacher in the development of policies and procedures relating to the preschool and would maintain evidence folders, in readiness for Ofsted inspection. They would also be a designated safeguarding lead. This role is provision-based, with appropriate release time in order to complete the administrative elements of the role.

All candidates are required to have at least a Level 3 qualification. Paediatric First Aid and DSL qualifications are desirable. This is a permanent contract, with a three-month probation period.
