Class Teacher and PE Lead
Full Time, five days per week
Required: September 2026
Salary: MPS 1-6 Outer London
Contract term: Full Time/Permanent.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to become Class Teacher and PE Lead on a full-time permanent basis at Forty Hill CE Primary School.
We are looking for an inspirational, motivated and creative teacher with proven skills and abilities in raising attainment for all pupils through excellent practice and high expectations. This is someone who will thrive on the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s lives. The teacher will need to show a good understanding of the importance of inclusive practice and of creating an inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
As PE lead, the teacher will need to show a good understanding of the national curriculum and of progression of PE skills across year groups. You should have a passion for leading clubs, an inclusive approach to PE and the ability to work with outside agencies and other schools.
Forty Hill CofE Primary School is a voluntary-aided Church of England school established in 1851 and set in a semi-rural, conservation area in Enfield, with strong links to Jesus Church. Located near the M25 and Forty Hall, the school provides an excellent opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with an easy commute from Hertfordshire, Essex and Enfield.
