SEN Learning Support Assistant

Commencing: ASAP

Contract: Fixed-term until December 2026 (possibility of extending)

Hours: Full-time 32.5 hours (includes a 15 minute break duty and 30 minute lunch duty) x 39 weeks

Scale: 3 (£22,860 - £23,184)

Forty Hill CE Primary School is a voluntary-aided Church of England school established in 1851 and set in a semi-rural, conservation area in Enfield.  We are looking for an excellent, enthusiastic and suitably qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team.

 The ideal candidate will:

·         Possess proven abilities in planning for a range of needs

·         Have good knowledge of the needs of all children including specific barriers to learning and development, and how to support them

·         Have a passion for learning and be happy to work in the ever-evolving primary environment

·         Have very good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work positively in our busy team

·         Be flexible

·         Have some knowledge about a range of interventions and their impact on meeting the needs of children with SEN

·         Be willing to attend training to further their knowledge and skills in the area of SEN

·         Be able to support the Christian ethos of our school
