Days: 4 days per week (Mon and Wed-Fri)
8.45am – 3.45pm (6 hours per day)
Actual Salary Range: MPS + SEN allowance

From September 2026
The Governing Board is looking to appoint a part-time (0.8) SENCO to join our school in September 2026. We are looking to appoint a high quality, enthusiastic SENCO to work across the school. St. Andrew’s is a friendly, high-achieving Church school in the heart of Enfield Town, part of The Saints Federation and with close links to St. Andrew’s Church. Pupils, staff and parents are very much a part of a supportive community.
You will need to:
· Demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching
· Have high expectations of every child enabling them to make exceptional progress
· Have excellent organisational and communication skills
· Inspire, challenge, support and empower others in the delivery of SEND provision for all children with special educational needs and disabilities
· Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) Award for SEN Coordination OR be willing to achieve the latest qualification during the early years of being in post.
· Have good interpersonal skills, establishing excellent working relationships with all staff, external professionals, governors, pupils and parents
· Ensure the best possible outcomes for SEND pupils and their families by influencing best practice across the school
· Be committed to ongoing professional development in the field of SEND
