Latymer All Saints Church of England Primary School Governing Body are looking to appoint a full-time member of Support Staff to join our team as soon as possible. We are a successful, forward thinking Primary School in a diverse multi-cultural area. Our school benefits from fantastic green spaces with many themed garden areas, a large playground with fields and has good public transport and road links. We have ample on-site parking.
You will need to:
Be flexible - as the role will involve supporting children in the Early Years setting/ KS1/ KS2 (as appropriate), as well as being responsible for inputting and delivering the Learning or Pastoral Support Plans.
Use your initiative to prove appropriate support
Advocate for children with additional needs and their families within the setting
Support child/ren to achieve their best - socially, emotionally and academically
Provide input into the writing and maintaining of Learning or Pastoral Support Plans
Liaise with the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to ensure appropriate support is in place
Support children as necessary in the setting, ensuring their main needs are met while they attend, including toileting and eating
Anything else as deemed appropriate by the Headteacher
