Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

Salary: Mainscale 1-4

Hours: Full time

Starting: September 2025

Term: 1 year sickness cover, with the possibility of an extension within the Federation (ECT’s welcome to apply)

The Cedar Federation is a community of two church schools: Freezywater St George’s & ST James’ CE Primary. One federation family, working and flourishing together to serve and nurture our communities.

The Post: As a member of The Cedar Federation, working at St James’ school you will be part of a team that works together to support children academically, socially and emotionally.

You will aspire to be an excellent teacher, taking responsibility for a KS2 class as part of a friendly and supportive school where everyone works hard together to live out our vision and values “growing, learning & flourishing together”, building on its Christian foundation.

Although we are incredibly proud of our school learning environment, our biggest asset, without doubt, is the enthusiasm shown by our fantastic children. Children who love to come to school and be challenged in their learning.

Our children have asked for a teacher who “makes us laugh, uses kind words, is polite, is kind, caring and is adventurous and confident…”. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, and feel that you can meet their criteria, we would be very happy to receive an application from you.
