Administrative Assistant
Fixed term to 31st August 2025
Pay Scale: GLPC Scale 3 (£28,545 - £28,977)
Paid pro rata for a 39 week, term-time only contract
35 hours per week (8am to 4pm including one-hour lunch break)
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team as Administrative Officer. This is an exciting and varied role which requires someone with a good level of organisational, IT and administrative skills.
Candidates must have experience in administrative work and be able to use various Microsoft Office Packages; including excellent Excel, Word and Outlook with competence.
Candidates will also have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as this role provides a crucial first point of contact for staff, students and parents.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they have previous experience in an administrative role, are able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, work calm under pressure and uphold a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Experience of working in a school and using MIS software is desirable, but not essential.
