The course is for governors and trustees who are on the headteacher's appraisal committee and for anyone who would like a deeper understanding of the process.
An effective appraisal system is integral to a successful school and to staff motivation and performance. The governing board is responsible for the school's policy and for the headteacher's appraisal. setting objectives (including teaching and learning, diversity, wellbeing/CPD)
monitoring, evaluating and evidence
