Course fees: Free for Church and affiliated schools. £30 for others.
These meetings, led by RE Partner, Mary Thorne, will run throughout the year and provide an opportunity for RE leaders to work with one another, share good practice and receive up to date training.
In the autumn RE Network Meeting, Mary will be introducing Headteachers and RE Leaders to the new revised Christianity units called ‘Christianity as a Global World Faith’. Once teachers have taken this training course they will have access to the Church of England’s ‘Christianity as a Global World Faith’ resources.
Local Authorities will be split between the two training dates, as outlined below. Please ensure you book on to the correct training date according to your schools Local Authority.
22 September – for schools in the following Local Authorities: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Westminster
1 October – for schools in the following Local Authorities: Brent, City of London, Ealing, Hackney, Harrow, Hillingdon, Islington, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow, Kensington and Chelsea, Richmond Upon Thames, Tower Hamlets, Surrey
Please note: to accommodate all our RE leaders we repeat the session each term so you only need to book one session per term (three meetings a year). Places on these sessions are limited so if you have not received an email confirming your booking please contact us to check you have a place before joining the meeting.
