Teaching Support Assistant

Start Date: April 2026

Full time: 32.5 hours a week

Term-time only (39 weeks)

Salary: Scale 3 spine point 5

St John’s Walham Green CE Primary School are seeking an inspirational Teaching Support Assistant to join our school and support us in meeting a wide range of needs:

• Supporting the Class Teacher

• Supporting individual pupils

• Delivery of intervention programmes

The successful candidates will be:

• Pro-active members committed to the school’s vision

• Level 3 qualified preferred

• Highly literate and numerate

• Motivated and enthusiastic

• Have a knowledge and understanding of how children develop and learn

• Have a secure knowledge of safeguarding in primary school
