Teaching Assistant KS2

Start Date: September 2024

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch

Term time only 38 weeks

Scale 2 - £26,238 - £26,634 pro rata

We would love you to come and work with us. We are a one-form entry Primary School in the centre of Uxbridge, with a warm, community feel and a professional and hard-working ethos.

We are looking for a person who:

  • wishes to contribute to the further development of the school;

  • is a good team player;

  • is self-motivated, creative and empathetic;

  • has a good sense of humour;

  • is committed and enthusiastic to working within a team of professionals who are dedicated to developing the whole child;

  • is committed to the inclusion of all children and their families;

  • can work across the Key Stages;

  • has good ICT skills;

  • will support staff and work closely with other professionals to provide the best outcomes for all children.

They will ideally:

  • have a paediatric First Aid qualification or First Aid at Work;

  • hold at least a Level 2 qualification or equivalent or be undertaking a relevant apprenticeship scheme whilst undertaking the relevant qualification;

  • have excellent Maths and English skills;

  • have relevant experience with primary age children;

  • have high expectations of achievement and behaviour;

  • be a committed professional with vision and drive;

  • be able to work as part of a team and willing to go the extra mile to support others;

  • support the Christian values of our school;

  • have an ability to communicate effectively.
