SEN Teaching Assistant in the ASD Unit with SEND Experience
Grade 5, part-time scale 5 (31 hours)
Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 3.30pm

· has knowledge of (or an interest in learning about) emotion coaching techniques to support development of emotional literacy and regulation skills;
· has an awareness of when to 'step in or step out' to help the child to develop their own capacity to learn;
· is able to support social communication skills;
· demonstrates high standards and expectations of themselves and the children;
· shows enthusiasm and creativity to inspire our children to love learning;
· has excellent interpersonal skills and is a strong team player; and
· is willing to embrace and promote the school’s Christian ethos and values.
