Nursery Teaching Assistant
The London Diocesan Board for Schools is seeking an experienced Learning Assistant with Level 3 Qualification in Childcare, for 17.5 hours per week for 39 weeks of the year (12pm to 3.30pm Monday to Friday)
Salary: Scale 3 Point 5 pro rata
Start date: September 2024

As a member of the Freezywater St George’s school staff, you will be part of a team that works together to support children and their learning. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A passion for, and commitment to, outstanding early years practice
Ability to support children during meal and snack times
Ability to support children’s care routines
Ability to complete light kitchen duties such as wiping tables and washing up
Experience of maintaining high standards of care for children at all times
A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish through support interventions.
The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff and children and they will have worked in a childcare environment. Our school is an inclusive, creative school, committed to child-initiated learning through a topic-based approach to the curriculum. We have recently been awarded the title of Enfield Inclusion Charter Champion School.
