Learning Support Assistant
Job Start: September 2025
Salary: Scale 2-8 (£25,854 - £29,763 per annum pro rata depending upon curriculum)
Working hours: 31 hours per week for a fixed period to August 31st 2026 (Term time only)
We are a small Church of England Primary school with just 150 pupils. We are situated on the edge of High Barnet, surrounded by trees and with Hadley Common on our doorstep. Our lovely school is part of a thriving well-supported community.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to help support our SEN children. The successful candidate would be joining our team who, collectively, are responsible for supporting learning and helping to deliver a creative, fun and joyful curriculum for our pupils. We are a small team who work well together ensuring the very best for every child.
We are looking for a candidate who:
promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;
support pupils consistently while recognising and responding to their individual needs;
the ability to rapidly build relationships;
the willingness and ability to work across the school;
some knowledge/ experience of primary schools;
teaching assistant experience would be desirable;
willingness to uphold the values of our Church of England school;
commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practices and equal opportunities for all.
