Working at Greig City Academy

The successful candidate will be joining a tight-knit community; the turnover is consistently low and the well-being of our staff is important to us. We aim to support staff to achieve a sensible work-life balance.

Staff at the Academy collaborate and support each other by sharing good practice and taking a team approach with a focus on collective responsibility. Paul Sutton, our Principal, encourages teachers to have an impact beyond their subject and he is always available and happy to discuss ideas with you as to how this can be achieved. We have an impressive range of extra-curricular activities, and all our staff are involved in running at least one. Ours is a caring and well-ordered environment in which all students can enjoy learning, develop enquiring minds, and acquire the skills and knowledge they need for a changing world. Every day we see the results of our efforts in students who work responsibly and with consideration for others – they are the best ambassadors for the school.
