Welfare Officer

Permanent, Full Time, Term-time only

Salary: Scale 3 (£24,759 - £25,113 actual salary for term-time only)

Start Date: asap

At Bishop Ramsey school we prioritise the health and safety of every student. Our Medical Welfare Office provides essential support for students, ensuring they receive the care they need to stay healthy, happy, and ready to learn. As part of our Student Services team, the Welfare Officer provides:

First Aid and Emergency Care: handling acccidents, injuries and medical emergencies, offering immediate care and ensuring students are safe and supported.

Ongoing Health Support: supporting students with long-term conditions and administering daily medications and arranging in-school vaccinations. We work closely with students and parents to ensure medical needs are met.

What we need from our Welfare Officer;

A qualified, calm and proactive presence

Someone who is confident to take charge in an emergency situation

Someone who can manage the administration, communication and reporting required
