An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, inspiring, and proactive Head of Computer Science, ICT & Digital Strategy Lead to head up a successful teaching department and drive the rollout and ongoing development of our ambitious digital strategy. Bringing both teaching experience and up-to-date ICT knowledge, the successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and external partners to build skills and capacity for making best use of technology across the whole school, as well as teaching at all Key Stages and leading our committed and innovative ICT & Computing Department.
Bishop Ramsey school recognises the importance of harnessing the opportunities that ICT brings to both our students’ learning experience and the efficient running of school processes and communications. We have an ambitious Digital Strategy which the successful candidate will drive, alongside an Assistant Headteacher.
The successful candidate will combine subject expertise with a passion for creating excellent learning experiences. They should have the commitment, skills and character to lead a successful department and influence colleagues at all levels. This role offers an established and successful Head of Department a stepping stone into senior leadership (and as such, we are unable to offer this role to an ECT).
