Higher Level Teaching Assistant

One-year fixed-term contract

Start date: 1st September 2025

Pay Scale 6 (17-20)

Salary range: £35,814.00 to £37,437.00 FTE pro rata

Actual salary range: £31,514.77 to £32,942.94

8.30am to 4.30pm - 35 hours per week across five days

Term-time only, plus one week (39 weeks)

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children of all ages. If you are inspired by children’s learning and would like to be part of a committed and professional team, we would like to meet you. This job would ideally suit someone who has completed their teacher training, or has some teaching experience and may wish for some extra time to consolidate their experience before becoming a teacher, or who is considering returning to teaching.
