Kentish Town CE Primary School in Camden, rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding” with an “exceptional” Special Needs provision, is seeking to appoint a talented and inspiring Headteacher.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record, either as a Headteacher or in a Senior Leadership position, with considerable SEND experience. You will spearhead the school’s further success, building on its achievements under the existing, long-standing Headteacher, who retires in July 2025.

Kentish Town is a popular single-entry school, with most pupils living in the immediate vicinity. This is an area of higher-than-average deprivation and more than 40 per cent of the school’s children are supported by the Pupil Premium Grant. The school’s offer includes specialist SEND provision.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Hold and communicate a clear Christian vision for all of the school;

• Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, creativity, resilience and clarity;

• Provide inspirational drive for the school’s strategic leadership;

• Understand how to promote high expectations for the achievement of all children;

• Ensure that the school’s systems, organisation and processes are well-considered, efficient and fit for purpose.
