St Gabriel’s C of E School is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted November 2023) and is frequently described as ‘an oasis’. Our very recent Ofsted described St Gabriel’s as being ‘calm, caring and welcoming;’ where pupils are ‘happy at school as they feel like they belong to a ‘”big family”, where everyone helps each other.’ Staff wellbeing is also a priority and ‘Staff are proud to be a part of this school. We are a one form entry primary school situated in central London, with views of the Thames, the new Battersea Power Station development and within a short distance of the Houses of Parliament and London’s West End. We are looking for an inspiring, talented,experienced EYFS teacher to join our dedicated team of staff in September 2024. For experienced applicants, subject leadership roles will be available.

We are looking for:

  • Highly skilled motivated practitioners with high emotional intelligence and a vision and passion for learning

  • Teachers with experience of, and a proven track record in, raising standards across the curriculum and particularly in early reading and phonics

  • Teachers with experience of teaching EYFS and KS1

  • High expectations with a passion and belief that all children can and will succeed

  • Hard working active team members who will support our Christian ethos
