Experienced Early Years Learning Support Assistant with Level 3 qualification in Childcare.

30 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (8.30am to 3:30 pm Mon to Fri)

Salary: Scale 3 pt 5 Pro rata

St James CE Primary is a friendly, warm and welcoming one form entry school. We are looking for an experienced learning support assistant with a level 3 qualification in childcare. As a member of St James CE Primary school staff you will be part of a team that works together to support children and their learning.  You will be expected to support and encourage the ethos of a Church of England school, its vision values and values.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A passion and commitment to outstanding early years practice.

  • Ability to support children during meal and snack times.

  • Ability to support children’s care routines.

  • Experience of maintaining high standards of care for children at all times.

  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish through support interventions.

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff and children and they will have worked in a childcare environment.  Our school is an inclusive, creative school, committed to child initiated learning through a topic-based approach to the curriculum.
