Access and Inclusion Manager (interim)

Type: Interim (up to 12 months)

Start date: ASAP

Salary: Support staff POA, pro rata of £42,771

We are seeking an excellent candidate to be our interim Access & Inclusion Manager for a period of up to 12 months, covering the absence of the permanent postholder. The equivalent annual salary would be £36,465 (subject to any cost of living increases within the year).

The Interim AIC Manager plays a pivotal role within our Access & Inclusion Faculty, working closely with the Head of Access & Inclusion Faculty/SENDCo to ensure high-quality provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the Access & Inclusion Centre

  • Leading and delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups

  • Supporting the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)

  • Line managing and developing HLTAs and Teaching Assistants

  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents/carers and external agencies

  • Monitoring, evaluating and improving the impact of SEND provision

This is a hands-on role combining leadership, teaching, and strategic support for inclusion across the school.
