London Diocesan Board for Schools serves a community of 152 Church of England schools and exercises responsible stewardship of Church of England education in London.

About the Role

LDBS are seeking an Asset Surveyor to serve Church schools across the Diocese by supporting them to manage their estates, ensure their properties comply with statutory obligations and industry standards, and provide inspiring places to learn for 58,000+ pupils. LDBS supports schools with a capital works programme each year awarding grants of circa £7m for capital works.

Internally, you will be joining a growing and active asset management team, contributing to the development and implementation of the LDBS Estate Management strategy.

Externally, you will work with schools to make sure repair and capital investment requirements are identified and understood.

You will work with wider stakeholders (e.g., Department for Education, Local Authorities, Site Trustees, consultants and contractors) to achieve the desired outcomes.
