Brand New Library Cabin Opened at Stepney Greencoat C of E Primary School, Limehouse

The Stepney Greencoat school community were delighted to open their new library cabin in the school playground on Friday 6th with a ribbon cutting ceremony carried out by special guest, children's author, Helen Peters - who also held a book signing after school (organised with support from the Brick lane Bookshop).

The children are encouraged to freely use the library at break and lunch times, as well as timetabled sessions throughout the week.

Volunteer student librarians have been trained to support their peers in using the library and will act as role models to inspire reading for fun throughout the school.
