A Special Visit from the Queen for Christ Church CE Primary School, Camden

Huge congratulations to Christ Church CE Primary School, Camden, who received a surprise visit from the Queen this week! The school have partnered with the National Literacy Trust to launch their brand new library on Wednesday 4 February. The library is the first to open in the National Year of Reading 2026, and as Patron of the Trust, Her Majesty The Queen attended the launch to officially open the library, joining pupils and staff in celebrating this exciting milestone.

Penny Roberts, Diocesan Director of Education, was also present for the occasion. Penny's personal highlight was witnessing the Queen high-fiving the pupils.
