Spirited Arts Competition - two winning entries for St Mary's and St Peter's CE Primary School, Teddington

St Mary's and St Peter's CE Primary School in Teddington are delighted to announce that they had two winning entries in this year's Spirited Arts Competition run by NATRE.

The children chose from one of the following themes; ‘Sacred Places’, ‘Thinking About God’ and ‘Stories That Change Lives’. They were then asked to produce a piece of artwork, alongside a written reflection of their response.

With around 3,000 entries being sent in for judging, Alicia and Marcel from Year 6 were both chosen as winners.

Alicia's acrylic painting entitled 'The Light in The Dark' and Marcel's watercolour called 'Unknown God', both demonstrated creativity and impressive artistic skill.

Additionally, both pupils exhibited deep spiritual thinking when explaining their chosen theme and response in their written reflections.

A huge congratulations to them both, what a wonderful achievement!
