PE lesson with the Prime Minister for John Keble Church of England School, Harlesden

On Wednesday 12 November, 20 Year 5 and 6 pupils from John Keble Church of England School in Harlesden were invited to the home of the Prime Minister to experience a PE lesson they would never forget.

The pupils helped Sir Keir Starmer to launch the build-up to the Euro 2028 Finals, by showcasing their football skills to an audience of dignitaries, including the UEFA President, Alexander Ceferin and the FA Chair, Debbie Hewitt MBE.

The children had fun playing football in the garden, getting some hints and tips from the dignitaries present, and even managing to impress England international and Aston Villa star, Tyrone Mings, with their football flair.

The pupils were keen to get up close and place their hands on the celebrated Euro trophy that was also on show at the event. Judging by some of the skills displayed it may not be too long before one of them does!
