Briefing: Online Harms - The Manosphere

Platform: Online training

Course fees: Free for LDBS Church and affiliated schools. £30 for others.

This will be a thought-provoking briefing which considers how the manosphere can cause far reaching harm, and what the motivations for engagement are, with particular focus on the vulnerabilities which lead young boys to this type of content.

The briefing is being provided by Dr Anna Lavis and Andrew Maile from the University of Birmingham, who are currently researching the ideas that the manosphere exposes young boys to and their negative impact on both boys and girls.

Particularly relevant within our society currently, this briefing will be an eye-opening look into online harm and what it means for us as individuals and communities.
