Course fees: Free for Church and affiliated schools. £30 for others.

The course covers a number of staffing and HR situations which may require the governors to convene a panel hearing, including disciplinary, capability, grievance and pay appeals.

By the end of the course participants will

understand and be able to apply the principles which ensure that justice is done and seen to be done

know the policies and procedures to follow to give all parties a fair hearing

know how to ensure a good record of the meeting and appropriate follow up correspondence
