HLTA status is a career progression opportunity for experienced teaching assistants, who have experience of working 1:1, with groups of learners and the whole class.

This development programme will guide candidates through a preparation process, culminating in assessment against the 33 national standards.

Successful candidates are awarded HLTA status (nationally recognised through HNAP) which operates across all phases of education from Early Years to post-sixteen, including special needs settings.

The training days and times for this cohort are 9.30am-3pm on:

18th, 19th November

20th January 2026
