This briefing will revisit the responsibilities of school leaders and governors in delivering Relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education that reflects their school’s Christian vision and identity. The session will introduce the updated statutory guidance coming into effect from September 2026. The LDBS policy and guidance will be shared, along with practical resources to support RSE teaching.
The session leader, Jayne Pavlou, is an experienced trainer and school adviser. She will allow 15 minutes at the end of the session for questions and discussion. The briefing is suitable for class teachers and Senior Leaders.
