Raising the Roof Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral, Wednesday 29 April

Raising the Roof is a large-scale choral work by composer Richard Quesnel, premiered in 2023 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Sir Christopher Wren's death.

Join St Paul's Cathedral for this groundbreaking performance featuring a massed choir of 360 children from their Choral Partner Schools, as well as singers from the City of London Schools' Camerata.

The children performing will showcase some of the work of the Cathedral's Choral Partnerships programme, which currently works with eleven schools across the Diocese of London to provide weekly, whole-class singing sessions throughout the academic year.

The Cathedral's widely acclaimed programme delivers over 50 singing sessions per week to around 2,000 children, led by Artistic Director, William Bruce and Choral Animateurs, George Cook and Laurel Neighbour.

Doors open at 17:30, and the concert is 18:30-19:30. All are welcome to attend what will be an incredible evening of music and storytelling.
