Mapping Energy Project

Congratulations to the Year 12 students from The Bishop Wand School, Stepney All Saints School, St Augustine’s High School and The Green School who participated in the Mapping Energy project organised by the Square Mile Churches project, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineers. Students worked alongside volunteer engineers to explore alternative carbon-neutral underground heat sources for the Square Mile Churches. At the celebration event at St Andrew’s Church, Holborn, students from Bishop Wand presented their findings and their model of St Andrew-by-the Wardrobe church. The map and its models are on display until the end of September at the Green Skills Hub, New Bridge Street (near Blackfriars Station).
