In the build up to the upcoming Jubilee celebrations, St. Mary’s CE Primary in Twickenham have a very important visitor touring their three sites. The Queen herself has been making surprise visits to each classroom, lunch halls and even staff and Governors’ meetings.
Pupils have learnt lots about her reign and the service she has given to our country and many other countries around the world. This links to our focus Christian value for this half term of ‘service’.
Pupils and staff are busy rehearsing for a celebratory service at St. Mary’s church next week with each year group performing a poem, song or dance from each decade in the Queen’s reign.
All are also looking forward to their Jubilee picnics which will be held in the school’s playgrounds.
