St.Peters Church Of England Primary School, Hammersmith, commemorated the anniversary of Grenfell on Thursday 16th June by showing the importance of community.   The staff and children St. Peter’s wore green to promote unity, spirit and resilience and gave thanks to those who are the shining lights around them.  The school was adorned with green hearts signifying care and love, and to reflect on the solidarity and diversity of community. We prayed for the loss of lives and remembered the significance of the event and its impact on the world around us.

Heavenly Father,
Sustain your beloved children in times of distress;
Lord Jesus,
As you became one with us,
Help us work together to reveal your kingdom.
Holy Spirit,
Fill our hearts  and minds,
And guide us onto the ways of truth and justice.
