St Mary’s Bryanston Square has recently joined together with Chris Andrews at Project Touchline – an incredible programme linking sport, RE and spirituality. St Mary’s Bryanston Square is the first school in London to be part of this nationwide project led by Chris.

The programme runs for 6 weeks and Chris works with identified year groups; the school decided on Key Stage 2. The children each have a PE lesson with Chris (Tag Rugby or Hockey) which is led by the school values  – love, honesty, respect. Additionally, Chris leads a Collective Worship session each week he is at the school and also has supported St Mary’s to plant a prayer club at our lunchtime.

The children have been very enthused by Chris’ work, not only are they receiving high quality teaching and learning from a qualified rugby coach but also adding to their deeper understanding of our Christian values and the teachings of Christ.

St Mary’s Bryanston Square are thrilled to be a beacon school for his project in London, working with Chris and Project Touchline.
