This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team at St Luke’s. We believe that each of us is unique and valued by God-all made in his image and we seek to provide an outstanding education for all. The impact of our school vision taken from the parable of the sower Luke 8 V5-15: ‘A sower went out to sow…some seed fell onto good soil, and when it grew, it produced one hundredfold’ can be seen in the life of the school, in respectful relationships, through actions and through words as we seek to be the good soil. We endeavour to nurture our good soil by living through Christian values in which children and adults are inspired and flourish.
We have been in a successful federation with Moreland Primary School since July 2011. Both schools work together sharing expertise, resources, work load and innovation. Both staff teams are valued and feel valued and this has a positive effect upon the ethos of both schools and on the success and outcomes for children. Both schools are happy and thriving, both graded as ‘good’ schools by Ofsted.
The children and God’s love are at the heart of everything that we do and every decision that we make. The governors, leadership and staff team work collegially and we have extremely high expectations for the children.
You are very welcome to speak to Ann Dwulit (Head Teacher) and to visit us.
