Students are encouraged to think for themselves giving them the opportunity to to make sense of the work around them.

GCA is a successful STEM school and the Science Faculty drives forward innovative teaching practices, placing high value on practical work. A range of well-attended, extra-curricular activities for students at lunchtime and after school – for example, our KS3 science club and KS4 raising achievement sessions – are offered.
