The children, staff and Governors at St. Mary Magdalene and St Stephen’s CE Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational specialist music teacher to lead the implementation of the music curriculum throughout the school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an outstanding practitioner of teaching music
  • Has a good understanding of delivering a music curriculum from Early Years to Year 6
  • Is committed to making learning interesting and fun
  • Has a warm, open and friendly disposition
  • Has high expectations of colleagues and children
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Will collaborate with SLT to embed the school’s Music Development Plan
  • Is in sympathy with the aims/ethos of our Christian school
