Bishop Perrin School is a small and friendly Church of England Primary School based in Whitton, in the London Borough of Richmond. We are seeking to appoint a highly-skilled, self-motivated and enthusiastic part-time HR Officer to join our staff team to oversee all aspects of HR and compliance.

The HR Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the school’s strategic plan and objectives and is an important member of our school community. They will have responsibility for:

  • health and safety, including site services and security
  • data protection
  • human resources
  • business supplies and services (including IT and catering services)
  • governor support
  • administration and office administration support

We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and well-organised; someone who can work independently to manage their own workload and be proactive and adaptable to the needs of the school. They will:

  • have experience of working in a professional office environment as an administrator or similar
  • have strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to be resourceful, versatile and flexible
  • ability to prioritise, use initiative and work under pressure
  • be enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • have excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • be friendly, polite and helpful
  • be committed to promoting the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
