Salary: Inner London Pay Scale and Additional Allowance AA1b £11,403 per annum
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and hard-working professional to join our Pastoral Team. As Head of Year, you will be given responsibility for leading and managing the attendance and behaviour, as well as progress and achievement of a year group of up to 220 pupils.
You will need to be a good communicator able to build effective relationships with students, their parents/ carers and with staff. You will be committed to the well-being and achievement of all students, with good interpersonal skills and an attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising the achievement and attainment of groups of pupils. The ability to motivate our most challenging students is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a well-qualified and enthusiastic professional with a relevant degree and a teaching qualification. They will be a dynamic and energetic practitioner with high expectations, passionate about their subject and committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning.
