42 weeks per year, 35 hours per week

Salary range:    point 7 to point 11 (full time rate: £27,554 to £29,282).

At point 7, actual pro rata salary £25,489

Greig City Academy is seeking to appoint an Admissions and Student Information Officer to join our team. We are looking for an organised administrator to support the admissions process of the school as well as to contribute to the smooth running of the Student Information Centre. This includes administering first aid (training will be provided).

As Admissions Officer you will be responsible for the administration of school places, liaising with the Assistant Vice Principal (Pastoral), Heads of Year, the local authority and/or other external agencies, and parents and carers as necessary. You will provide administrative and day-to-day operational support and this includes maintaining the school’s admissions database and communicating with parents and carers on all aspects concerning school admissions.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as a member of an established team, be well organised and efficient, with an ability to use their initiative and work unsupervised. They will have good Microsoft Office skills and be able to mail merge in Word and use Excel to run reports. Ideally, they would have experience of school admissions processes, policies and procedures.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) on a 42 week contract.
