The children have been enjoying a variety of creative learning activities about different countries from around the world this week. From Ghana to Cyprus and beyond, activities have included art work, cookery sessions to sample native recipes, dance lessons and more!

To further enhance our MFL curriculum, the whole school took part in a Spanish Day on Wednesday. The children all took part in flamenco workshops, sampled tapas, enjoyed a whole school picnic and learnt about the history and culture of Spain.

The finale of the week was a fabulous display of Flag Worship and music to start off our International Games Day. The children had all made their own flags for their countries for the opening ceremony of the Games. They then took part in a range of sports activities to represent their countries.
