This morning, Wednesday 15 June, the CE family of schools in Hounslow came together for a special service to mark the transition from primary school to secondary school.  This was the second joint service, the first in 2019, before the COVID pandemic. The local school involved hope to establish this as an annual event.

Year 6 pupils from St Richard’s, The Blue School and St Paul’s, the three LDBS primary schools in Hounslow, came together with Year 7 pupils from The Green School for Girls and The Green School for Boys, the LDBS secondary schools in Hounslow at St Francis the Assisi church in Osterley.  It was wonderful to be back together again.  During the service of thanksgiving, led by Rev Peter Vannozzi,  pupils from each of the schools contributed around the themes of education and schools, family and friends, creation and nature as well as Church and faith.  Pupils from The Blue School even provided the music to sing to.

The photographs show pupils from all the schools, who contributed directly to the service.
