As we enter Mental Health Awareness week. We thought we would highlight this service once again.

The Diocese of London has partnered with the mental health text support service, Shout 85258, to bolster its support for those experiencing mental health challenges across the city.

Announcing the partnership during her Faith and Mental Health Lecture at the Guild of Health & St Raphael today, the Bishop of London will formally launch a new Diocese of London ‘keyword’ that people in London can use to message Shout when they need in the moment mental health support.

Shout is a free, 24/7, confidential and anonymous mental health text support service for anyone who is struggling to cope. From today, people within the Diocese will immediately be connected to one of Shout’s trained volunteers by texting the word ‘Neighbour’ to 85258.
