2022 will mark the thirtieth anniversary of my commitment to the LDBS, the first ten years as a trustee, then ten years looking after the finances before taking on my current responsibilities. I have just celebrated my 75th birthday and have decided that it is time for me to cut back on my work commitments, so I have asked the board of the LDBS to find my successor as Chief Executive by the end of this academic year.
This will be a busy year as the LDBS supports the 2030 Vision and puts into place the new 2021 Diocesan Measure. I will make sure there is a careful transition. On a personal note, I intend to continue to support the work of the diocese in different ways and I am looking forward to a shift of emphasis and the opportunity for new challenges.
“I am very grateful for Inigo’s extraordinary ministry in the Diocese of London and the contribution he continues to make to the children of the city, and I look forward to supporting the transition to the next chapter for the LDBS.” +Sarah
